Project Life Tuesday: August 2013

Today I am sharing my layouts from August 2013. I am currently working on October which means I am caught up! I am always a month behind because I wait till the end of each month to print/order my pictures. The Project Life system is so easy, that I can do an entire month in a few hours so this never bugs me!
Week One
Week Two
Week Three
Week Four
When we were on our vacation in Grand Bend, I took notes each night (or the next morning) in my phone about what we did during the day. I realized then that I should carry some note cards with me so that I can just journal on the go. When I did the layout below, I just copied the notes from my phone onto a 4X6 card and added it to the page.

I love Persnickety Prints Polaroid prints for Instagram pictures because they leave just enough room at the bottom for some journaling or embellishments. They are also great because they fit perfectly into Project Life pockets!

Here is a sneak peak of October. If you don't follow me on Instagram, you can do so HERE. I post pictures of my Project Life and daily photo challenges. Hope you enjoy!

  1. hey Crystal,

thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment!!! love your PL spreads ...

    have a great day x

  2. this is such an awesome idea! it'll be so neat to look back on this years down the road!

p.s. following you on bloglovin :)

  3. Very nice! I've been an avid scrapbooker for years, but with 3 kids, it's hard to do it. This project life stuff seems like an easy alternative. I've started using shutterfly for all of mine, since I don't have to worry about the mess and my kids can't destroy the books as easily. But, maybe once they're older I'll check out this system. I'm stopping by from the Let's Be Friends Blog Hop. I'll be following you through Instagram. I've just started a new project called the Awesome Woman Project and I'd love it if you checked it out: http://www.thetriplebslifestyle.blogspot.com/p/redis-awesome.html

  4. I've kind of dropped the ball on my scrapbooking since having my last baby. I need to get back at it soon. So many memories.
