Pinterest Fail: Zachary's Monthly Baby Pictures

When I was pregnant with Zachary, Pinterest had just gotten popular. I saw all these amazing series of pictures of babies throughout their first 12 months and was totally on board. I was inspired by this PIN HERE and bought my supplies.

 

 

The first few months were easy and the pictures looked real cute.

Once he started rolling over, It was still pretty easy, I just had to snap fast. Zachary started crawling at 6 1/2  months and hasn't stopped moving since. The more mobile he got and the more comfortable he got with his own movement, the harder the pictures became.

 

At eight months, he just laughed at us an never sat still. I was able to get one picture with the blocks where he's just about to get up, but the rest look like this:

 

At nine months I was able to snap a good picture because he wasn't feeling well. But months 10, 11 and 12 just did not work! He would see the blocks and just want to play, try and grab the camera, or just want to run in circles laughing. lol. seriously.

 

As you can see, Dad has given up too ;)

By his 12 month pictures, I had just given up. I knew full well that he would not sit still for me to get the picture I needed, so I just didn't. He was having his pictures taken professionally for his One Year so I didn't stress about it. And like all Zach's professionally taken pictures, he smiled great for the pretty photographer (that wasn't his mother).
