I never thought I would be one of those parents who would use technology as a way to help my child learn in the early years. I was all "We can read actual books" and "use flashcards" and "stimulate his imagination". Like many parents, once my little man arrived a lot of my preconceived notions went out the window. We can still do all those things, but the iPhone as really come in handy during times when we need to sit still. He truly gets excited when we play games on my phone. They have helped him learn his animals, the sounds they make, colors and shapes. We don't play on it often, but I think it is a fun activity and helps him learn and grow.
Zachary's favorite app right now is Peekaboo Barn. He could watch and listen to the animals over and over! He loves it and its FREE!
That's why I am so excited about this giveaway! An iPad would be a great addition for any family or for anyone for that matter. It's just awesome!

I would use the iPad air for doing work on the go! I use the SalesForce app all the time, and it's so convenient to get work done while I'm traveling. :)

ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for my 2 girls. Would be a perfect gift for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteI never had gotten a present from my parents due to poverty. For 19 years of my life our present was that we get to put up a used/old Christmas tree with my dad who worked at a cannery from morning to 11pm. My siblings and I got each other presents instead, which were clothes, passed down presents, saved up $1 that our aunts randomly send us time to time to get a gift, or gifts they got from their friends and wanted to share with the rest of their family. I am now a mother of two and cannot afford to spare for leisure gifts that are worth giving to my siblings who cannot afford having their own family. I would love to get one and brighten up their holiday this year.
