Vegetarian Restaurants & Seva Ann Arbor

They DO exist!
It's crazy actually. I never would have guessed that there would actually be a vegetarian restaurant. Let alone more then one. And actually do well. Seriously, I was so blind to this and it makes me laugh. I used to think vegetarians were so crazy! And here I am. We still eat fish every once in a while (mostly when we eat out) but when we can find a vegetarian restaurant, we feel great because we actually have an abundance of choices.

Recently, we tried Seva in Ann Arbor and it was incredible!

AND, we found out they have a location in Detroit (way closer) so we can't wait to try it!!
We started out with the Yam fries. Delicious.
My husband had the Cilantro-Peanut Stir Fry.
I had the Black Bean & Sweet Potato Quesadillas. Uh-Mazing!
(I would have never thought this combination would be good. Proven wrong!)

We also both had a juice! It's so nice to have a juice somewhere where I don't have to do all the work! My husband had the Dr. Feelgood and I had a Kermit's lagoon!
Check out their menu HERE. You will be surprised.
Kermit's Lagoon - tasty!
We are thinking of trying the Detroit location this weekend! After having such great food and service in Ann Arbor, we are hopeful to have the same experience in Detroit so we can have that be a regular spot for us. :)

If you search vegetarian restaurants in your area, you may be surprised. I was!

We have also been to Inn Season CafĂ© in Royal Oak, MI. The food was great and they had many vegan options if you wanted. This was the first time we tried a vegetarian restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised.

  1. That's awesome! I have been vegetarian for over five years, and it's still tough to find places to eat at. I would think Colorado would be booming with veg restaurants because it seems like such a big thing here, but there are only one or two, and they're not close. It's great that you found one you really like! :)
