Workout Wednesday: Bikini Body Mommy Week 3

It's Workout Wednesday! As usual I am linking up with Skinny Meg to talk about my progress for the week.

Today is Day 21 of the 90 Day Bikini Body Mommy Challenge. This past weeks strength training consisted of the below workouts. I used 8 pound weights because I'm a wimp. With a son who was born 9 pounds and is 14 months and currently weighs 26 pounds (super tall) you would think I would be stronger? Moving on.

Although my numbers are not spectacular, I definitely did better each time I did the exercises. They were NOT easy. But my goal was to go the entire time and just push through! You can see all the demonstrations for these exercises on her Facebook Page.

Tomorrow is Day 22 and is a brand new list of strength exercises. This is usually what my little guy is up to while I'm doing my exercises. An excuse to empty the pan cabinet and try on mom's flip flops!

Here are the exercises that start tomorrow:

1. SQUAT-CURL-PRESS
2. TEETER-TOTTER LUNGES
3. 3-PART SHOULDER SERIES
4. BENT-OVER ROWS
5. EXTENDED PLANK

The number one thing (so far) that I love about this challenge is that I can do it all at home. Most of the time I do the strength exercises in the living room while my son literally runs around me. As far as cardio goes, I either use the treadmill in the morning before Zach wakes up, or I take him for a jog with the jogging stroller in the evening.

By this point, I would normally have given up or completely started slacking. I am proud to say that I have completed every day. As always, I'm glad today is rest day!

I'll leave you with another cute picture of Zach...can't get enough of this guy!
