First Day at Day Care & MY FIRST GIVEAWAY

Good Morning! I'm in such a good mood today for many reasons. First, I woke up and saw that Briana from Bikini Body Mommy re tweeted my tweet. (Does that sound funny? I'm new to the Twitter world) Now I see why it's so exciting!

 

Second, I was able to fit into a pair of pants that I haven't worn since 2003...SERIOUSLY! I can't believe that I was able to get back to my goal weight by simply changing my diet. (No meat, minimal dairy & sometimes I eat fish when we go out). I feel amazing!

 

 

Last, but definitely not least, yesterday was Zach's first day at Day Care. I am very fortunate that my cousin was able to watch him for the past year. She watched him when I went back to work when he was 3 months and has watched him ever since. But, he has been walking since 9 months and is just wanting to GO. He needs to have more structured activities throughout his day, do crafts and interact with other children so I know that this was the best thing for him. BUT I was a nervous wreck Sunday night and was so stressed all day yesterday!

 

When he got up Monday morning we had breakfast and I got him ready for his first day. I know this looks like a mug shot, but he was like "WTF are you doing mom? Why are you acting funny?" LOL

 

 

 

When we got to the school, they walked us through the morning routine and went over a few things such as signing him in and out, lunches, nap time, etc. When we went into his room, he saw toys & other kids and took off. Completely not concerned about mom leaving. :( I guess I would rather that then have him cry or be upset that I was leaving.

 

We got there at 7:45 and I stayed about 30 minutes to make sure he was ok. He was completely fine and barely noticed when I left. I called the center at 10:00 and they said he was doing great! He was playing, having story time and even did an art project (which I can't wait to see). At about 12:30 I went up there to see if he was napping. He was not. But he was standing in the crib, looking at the other kids sleeping...such a curious little man. But apparently he ended up sleeping about 2 hours.

 

Yes, I called and I went up there his first day, call me crazy! They said he did great and when I dropped him off this morning he was excited!

 

Any other moms out there that have been through this?
